Nice images bringing back happy memories of many cars I have owned or driven + the nostalgia of those British commercials, rather than the same old limited choices you see on today's roads.

I used to visit my local coach station as a boy interested in the many and varied makes, models, layout, configurations and colours of the coach company's that called there.

Behind me was a large builders merchant with trucks in and out delivering/collecting daily, what a wealth of makes/models etc. again as with coaches, now they all much of a muchness and we are poorer for that.

Quite agree stuff was more distinctive & had a bit of character back then
