Mr crappycrimp here😀
I would just like to thank Brian for all his work and the cuppas today he’s a grumpy old goat with a heart of gold really. In my defence I was unaware of the abs issue that was the previous owner although I’m not happy I’ve been running around without airbags since June 2018 (and she’s had two MOTs in that time). I have my list of fixes which will be addressed ASAP and Brian and I did have fun ragging the car down the road creating smokescreens🤣🤣 I notice Brian hasn’t mentioned my rather spiffing metallic green 190 callipers I think he secretly liked them😎. Oh and frosty does look good but I like the silver primertalic ZT as well. Thanks again Brian Richard

Started on the list of fixes provided by Marinabrian replaced drivers side rear backplate and wheel bearing which fixed the abs issue that has been driving me nuts for the last 2 months. Also replaced the rear disks and pads and took the opportunity to paint the rear callipers to match the front ones. All in all not a bad days work made easier by using my tame mechanics lift and tools😀
Shadomobile Aka captain crappycrimp

Coded up a newly repaired ECM to the ZT and covered 240 trouble miles on test.
Considering the state of the ECM as received, I was dubious as to whether I could repair it or not..........looks good so far Brian |
