Airbag light
My car has just been in for an mot and the girl who tested it was very short so moved the seat forward which put the airbag light on it has happened once before but I pulled the connector apart pushed it back together and all ok,I decided to take the seat out and solder them once and for all,trouble is the airbag light is stuck on any ideas please?

Turn the ignition on and off a few times, it may cycle off.

Thanks for the message I went out turned the ign on and the airbag light went out only trouble is it has now come back on again!

It’s clearly a loose connection then, have you tried wiggling the connector on the passenger side? If you made a good solder join on the drivers side seat you can eliminate that.

Thanks for reply’s I remember a post from the past that said solder joints can be a problem adding a resistance so I have cut them out and changed them for crimped barrel connectors and so far has seemed to work so hopefully it’s cured the problem,I will find out tomorrow when it goes back in for the mot!
