Cool

Morning everyone.

A bit cloudy this morning.

Slept right through the night, that is unusual for me. But then it was a long day yesterday with all that driving. The Bear needs all your concentration when driving at Warp Factor 3 and a bit.

Morning all,

Wish Jessica well from me at the Vampire clinic Phil.

Me by Jeff Cranwell, on Flickr

I'm heading home later this morning. Zed and I having had a lovely few days up here.

Last night Zed the Ted met up with his old pal Percy Pie down the boozer....well, the Acle Bridge Inn

There may or may not be some truth in the amount of alcohol consumed

Either way.....I had to carry Zed back to the boat

We are off home this morning but Zed the Ted has another adventure planned for him for next weekend......Watch this space

I drink a lot of coffee, I was advised to drink as much coffee as I can by the liver specialist.

I was pottering outside, tidying up some branches encroaching from the museum side of the wall when the heavens opened, really heavy shower. Operations temporarily suspended.

The BIG SHOP done Cider stores is looking healthy again
Boy is muggy here, I've done nowt apart from put the car on charge since I got back & I'm wet through wi sweat.
I was going to get my haircut at the hairdressers in ASDA but there were four ladies waiting & that would have been a long wait as there was only one hairdresser working today

First time I've seen Jersey Royal spuds in ASDA so bought a shedload It'll be jersey royals in garlic butter & some nice Cumberland sausages & broccoli for tea tonight

I ordered some Jersey Royal (International kidney) seed potatoes last year for this season but it got cancelled because they weren't up to scratch the seed potato merchant said.
Other people say it's a waste of time growing them anywhere bar Jersey as the taste comes from the particular soil they grow in there.

New radiators installed and working Still work to do on the Potterton condenser boiler! It's got another leak This is the fourth leak in five years as when it was installed by the Potterton installers brand new from the factory it sprang a leak immediately & ruined the PCB In hindsight I should have told them to get a replacement then.
