Good morning Richard, thank you for reporting in with the good news. With the walking, set yourself distance targets but don’t overdo it. There is an old saying which applies to myself, “slow and steady wins the race”

Happy Easter!

With the fuel and food shortages, we had to go out yesterday, stock up on groceries and medication before the supplies of medication runs out. The chest pains are getting less and no more instances of irregular heart beat or difficulty in breathing, what a relief that is.

What is everyone up to?

Means I’ll have to use the Bear, (sigh!), over the weekend.

Chicken stir fry for dinner, along with a couple of pints of Inch’s cider.

Might just have a whisky to round off the evening.
Morning Bob,

I read how you were looking for a 1.8T engine.

If you drop my friendly mechanic a pm maybe he can find what you are looking for. I know he is in touch with most of the traders in the club and they talk to each other for resources and to help each other out. 2 years ago, he bought me a low mileage 2.0 V6 engine donor engine for £115 from “welovemgfs”

Hopefully you will find what you are looking for

Morning all.

It's a bright and dry one here.

Good job as the continuing shed demolition and replacing with the "acquired" one are on the job sheet . I've had breakfast, second pint of tea is brewing, washing needs to go out - morning Rev - and Quizzie is resting after her hectic morning of waking up, eating breakfast, popping outside and curling back up to sleep .

Heard from Fiona yesterday:

Rich collapsed on Monday and then passed out twice at the hospital. Heart rate high, one of his blood levels wasn't right and dehydrated. His blood levels are now resolved and he came home on Tuesday.

Rich is still very tired and his speech has deteriorated. Phone appointment with consultant in a couple of weeks.

The good news is that he's recovering and is popping in to the forum .

Note to Rich.....Must make sure we have TWO cuppas on our next walk. And, of course, it's compulsory to have one cake per cuppa so happy days . Look after yourself mate.

Take care everyone and enjoy what looks like good weather over the Bank holiday.

Hi Andy.
Good to see you getting the chores done and out of the way, I have a housekeeper to do those things, that reminds me she hasn't mowed the lawns yet.

Andy, the wife took me to,
I will tell you the story by proper it. Just to tell everyone that I'm absolutely fine, just a bit annoyed.
I'll tell you what happens by phone.😀

Another nice day in Sheffield, managed to give the 75 a quick once over to rid the car of nearly 300 miles or road grime, ready for the Hubnut Social tomorrow, just away to visit family shortly.
