Well 5p a litre off. Don't spend it all at once.

Anyway, whilst updating me history file on the Jag I was reminded that a gallon was a little over a fiver when I bought it in 2016.

Filled it up last week and it was a just over £7.50/gall.

Glad I ain't doing many miles now.

The 5p that's been knocked of a makes no difference really at the BP by me as they put the price up to £1.92 Tuesday so if they follows the rule then it will be back to the £1.87 it was this time last week.

I noted that some garages say it will take a few days or even a week to bring in the price drop why? we are being ripped off and we all know it.

No, you should not be ripped off! The garage/distributer has paid Customs & Excise that 5p as part of the then total. That full duty fuel is then distributed and depending on demand it will need to be sold to allow the next delivery (hopefully at the lower duty price) to the garage.

I'll believe folks are concerned about the price of fuel and the cost of living crises when there isn't a queue to the hand car washes by folks.

Drove past my local Tescos yesterday, they were between 6 to 8 waiting.

Bloke on the beeb just now saying how bad it is. Mmmmm.

Unfortunately most of the people affected by the price of fuel and cost of living increases are not the ones who normally use hand car washes.
