Cool

Evening everyone. Burgers and chips for tea tonight.

I made 2 loaves over the weekend. Both a success, and both all gone. Bloomin’ yummy.

Morning Andy, thank you, how was the course, did you learn anything?

The best course I went on was with St John Ambulance Aeromedical Wing, where we got to practice loading and unloading stretcher cases on different aircraft, practicing life support CPR, dealing with medical emergencies inflight and then chilling out a hotel in the evening with a dinner dance. How some of the doctors and nurses held drinking parties in their bedrooms and got away with it. That was in the days of plenty.

Some other courses I went on were the opposite, making for a sleepy head….

A bit of a disastrous day at the hospital yesterday. It turned out the cardiac monitor I have been wearing since last week, only recorded 10% of the heart activity, so now I have been put on a different older machine, not waterproof. The nurses who fitted it, have asked me not wash except under the arms until I am seen again on Thursday. They said I am to have a baby wash ….. yeah right!

Cool

Morning Phil and all fellow early risers.

Off to the Post Office to send back to Jeff Turbo the 2 coil packs that he lent me for the Bear.

Then I’m going to do my bit for the community. The local library put out a request that came from the local community shop down the Street. Any old or unwanted cook & recipe books. Well, I still have all of Val’s cook and recipe books. I rarely look at them, I make my recipes up as I go along. I still have my mum’s cook book which I will keep along with a couple of Val’s.

So I’m going to give the community shop all the surplus books. This includes 3 ring folders of recipes that Val accumulated over the years.

Morning all, blue skies in Edinburgh this morning, but we did have a heavy shower of rain not so long ago, off to the powdercoaters later with another alloy to be re-furbed, but have to get through another day at work first!

Morning all.

Beautiful blue sky here. Nothing like the winds we've had for the last few days and feeling mild - the temperature is just about into double figures .

Quizzie's local river has burst it's banks. I'll see if I can get a pic or two later on.

And for courses, I once heard it said that there are no boring courses, only boring speakers. Looking back, I can see where the phrase came from.

Enjoy yourselves, whatever you're up to .

PS Deep respect to the Ninja Cat. That's just incredible and I hope he/she is still alive to reap the rewards after all those falls.

Phil, "Ninja Cat" is referring to this video that Ian posted yesterday:
