Wd40
Can I use my WD40 as a contact cleaner or does WD40 produce a separate spray can for cleaning electrical contacts?

WD40 is a water displacer, proper electrical contact cleaner is available in a spray can. I think MAF cleaner is the same stuff.

I wouldn't use WD 40 as it leaves an oily residue
Halfords do WD contact cleaner https://www.halfords.com/motoring/en...ml-366556.html or this from Halfords https://www.halfords.com/motoring/en...ml-621335.html .

WD40 - biggest Boidger's Tool going. I won't touch it with a barge pole.
As above, not suitable for electricals. Use Servisol, easily available on ebay or RS Components. Used it a lot when I was an electronics engineer before I retired. Stewart |

It may depend on which of their products are needed, they do make a contact cleaner - https://www.wd40.com/products/ |
