If someone says Scarborough I always remember a holiday my folks had there in a caravan years ago, I stayed with my Gran in the Borders. It was so wet in Scarborough they had to buy wellies for getting to and from the caravan.

Surely you mean Whitby......

Memories of Scarborough for me are strange to describe. On the seafront used to be a open fronted building in which a guy and his team would "sell off" bargains, I am pretty sure you ended up holding an item that you hadn't paid for and didn't until later when he finally announced the price.

Still have a dome anniversary clock similar to this -

Not that it rotates anymore.

Somewhere in the house is a portable radio/cassette player that came from the same place.

Good morning Ian, how are you? good morning all. Ian we had great times in Whitby and Scarborough in 2015. I found the accents and their way of speaking was not that difficult to understand with their directness and “Aye Bye Gum” and the Geordie accent up north is something else

This morning in the tree next the house we had 3 noisy but splendid looking Turaco’s to wake us up with their loud squawks......

I was at the hospital yesterday to pick up the sleep apnoea test kit and had to wear it last night. I have take it back today to get the results apologies for the strange one in the photo.....
