He looked the picture of health when we went to the old RAF base a couple of weeks ago!

Just looked at the pics I took, it was 09 Sept not a couple of weeks ago!

No it wasn't - Getting my RAF bases mixed up it was 14th Oct.

Not much more can I add about Freddie other than his wit and humour will be missed in LCOZ.

I can't find words, the lcoz won't be the same now, too many stalwarts gone. I know some are still around elsewhere but Freddie gone? He was the new Derek., the headmaster. At least the two of them will be reunited in a better place.
