Img is ok. Coolent level ok. Temp sensor is ok as i just replaced it. How ever i re ppend the bleed screw and had anout 5 decond of bubbles and it settled down! Also i noticed the lower pipe was cooler than the rest. So i wondered if the none return valve had stuck? So have puched a thing screw driver in to release the bearing incase ig was stuck! It ran last nighg and all day today with out and issue

pulling my hair out now
so thought issue was solved, apparently now, got 3 miles away from home, fan kicked into high speed.
did an ipk text, the results were in the 120's, pulled over for it to settle down, the the temp gauge went to off position and stayed there ever when i pulled away, it zeros out and wouldn't budge Is the tempt gauge capable of sending the system crazy. could that be at fault Last edited by Anon1; 21st May 2018 at 18:46.. |

Yes. Did you fit a genuine MG Rover part? Did you refill and bleed the system according to MG Rover’s procedure?

You should do so now then. It's the only way to be sure that all the air has been removed. Here it is for the 1.8 engine.
