My main concern for any updates was a button to have font`s size increased.
I used a third party app to do that but some pages were hidden you could not Tap/Scroll, so ended up removing it.
What annoys me is a new model is brought out and to "up-grade" you have to "down-grade"
Ken.

Is there any hope of an update ever to the Nav 3?

Seriously considering ditching it and getting an Xtrons if there's no chance of its quirks being ironed out (the slow boot being the main one).

Boot time aside, I guess what I'm really asking is whether development/updating of the Nav 3 is still happening, or if what we've got is as good as it will get.

Hope there is an update. I've started running into apps that no longer support 4.4 and can't be reinstalled if I wipe the unit.

Help us Obi Sean Kenobi! You're our only hope!

It would be great to get at least one Android update on the Navall 3 before I consider changing it out for another unit. Is Sean the only guy who develops updates on these units or has anyone found an alternative source?

re Navall Update

Well I Have the Android 5,1 Update for Navall 3
And put a lot of hours into trying to get it to work here
The problem with it is that supposedly there has to be physical changes done to a motherboard, which to me is not a viable alternative.

Unfortunately I am at the mercy of the factory on that aspect ......

But that doesn't mean I cannot do something. For those that feel slighted, Or simply want the newest unit (Which will be the Eclipse) I am set to work one on one to get you into the New unit with Android 6.0 .

We had a unit come in December , which really didn't check the boxes that many of you would want. We were not consuolted during development, which was a mistake, they had a large customer and apparantly worked mostly with them....
I was hoping to do this then but had only that choice. We got a sample and were not ready to make the move to it .... Now we have settled on the ECLIPSE and I would encourage anyone to write me at [email protected] so we can put this to bed.

this goes for the Navall Star or the Navall 3

Regards

Sean
