You should see significant gains over standard line, but again this is dependent on distance to cabinet exchange etc.

Your'e connection to the exchange will take a few days to stabilise, as the equipment there monitors and adjusts to set the best throughput and speed, for a stable connection.

Just noticed your post was 5 days ago, how you getting on with it ?

Snagger.
Thanks for that. Yes so far very good, my main reason for changing was to get a unlimited usage per month. In my case it was only £6 more to get unlimited fibre optic. Only done one speed test thus far and cannot remember the results but will do one tonight and post..
Everyday surfing no different perhaps a tiny bit faster. Where the difference is noticiable is uploading. As a relatively keen photographer i upload a lot of fairly big files up to my Photobucket accounts and several online processors.
Uploading 10 at a time used to take a age, now done in less than a minute which really makes a difference to my workflow.
My old BT coped with 3 of us streaming anyhow so this copes just as well.
So happy i think! Mean't to get a Sainsburys £50 shopping voucher from BT not received yet...
