Default Removing saloon parcel shelf and blind

Had a quick go at this last night but it was getting dark. Removed the fir tree clips along the front edge, middle seatbelt and the 3 10mm nuts under the shelf. Also took off the c pillar trims. It wouldn't come out so what else do I need to undo or remove for it to come out?

I can't remember if its fitted with a blind, but there's a red fir-tree underneath the middle of the parcel shelf in the boot sticking through that you usually have to tap up. It usually smashes all the "barbs" off so it may pay to have a spare when you put it back in.

Otherwise, with everything undone, I find the shelf needs lifting up slightly in the middle before it will pull out towards you, taking care not to let the back catch the heated elements on the screen as you do. I've found it can make it easier if one side comes ahead of the other as it doesn't trap as easy against the body width-ways.

Hope this helps.

Be careful not to snag wires for the heated screen, may even be worth undoing them from the body of the car.

The parcel shelf comes out one side ahead of the other, it is a cow to do and worse to put back. It is a bit of brute force as it slots into some clips that you cant get to by the rear screen.
