I'm getting this as well with Avast - something about the URL being blacklisted.

Having to use my phone to access the site for now.

Yes, or mixed content as it's known being displayed on the same page. Page 2 of this thread is ok but not page 1. Why? I think that the answer might be in the image in Pete's signature in post 7. It is showing as HTTP unlike Phil's in post 2 which is showing as HTTPS. The problem will be the same on many pages across the site, if not with images then it will likely be with links.

Strange - I'm using Windows 10, Google Chrome, Windows Defender AND Malware Bytes - and the Club's site is fine. The padlock symbol that precedes the site address is in the locked position.

How does your padlock look on page 1 of this thread Rod?

Interesting - page one shows the open padlock, complete with exclamation mark - same as Ronnie

Yes, that is what I suspected. And I would bet that if Pete posted on page 2 with his HTTP sig pic then page 2 would open the padlock too.

As above reply to Ronnie Rod.

It is not the site's doing. Browsers no longer like HTTP and the Geeks behind the move to HTTPS did not in my view give enough thought to the practical drawbacks. If the site's server is running on Apache software there might be a workaround with a script change, but it is a workaround which I think accepts HTTP in addition to HTTPS without triggering the padlock to open and the associated warnings. But I could be wrong and stand to be corrected by someone who is more knowledgeable on the matter.

Yep ... me too.

Surprisingly, Avast doesn't even try to sell me an upgrade or another feature to Resolve the issue ... they normally do!
