Inspiration, or lack of it!

I have been asked to submit 3 photos to an exhibition in my local town, the theme is 'secret Copeland' the idea being that we don't use photos of the usual landmarks. I know that I want to use three different techniques but I'm struggling to get ideas for the actuall shots. I'm struggling to see things from a new or old point of view! How do other photographers get inspiration??

What about a VERY late night/early morning shot of a normally busy place?

Click on the "Photography" categories - plenty of inspiration from other artists. I find it helps to kick-start me into doing something or trying to recreate a fantastic shot/scene/idea that I may have seen.

Above all though, when I'm out I always and try and shoot stuff from different views. Similar idea to Podge in that you can take an ordinary 'scene' and shoot it from an abnormal time/angle/perspective. It can turn what would have been a humdrum photo into something quite exciting.

One shot I have been working on - needs a bit more work but going with the 'secret Copeland' title. Don't get more secret than Sellafield

The last sold ordered 75 Tourer. Paid for by the Phoenix Four and handed over by John Towers to the Warwickshire Northampton Air ambulance service as a Rapid Response vehicle
