I'm not sure how genuine the guy was. Don't like to make generalisations about people, but I don't think he stays in one place very long. Very much a "cash businessman".

Offers under means just that.

I don't like the throw away culture of binning nice cars. Especially an endangered breed like the ZT/75, I understood this place was full of like minded people. I was clearly mistaken.

Perhaps i't be better to crush it, not even strip it for bits. Turn it into an interesting coffee table. But that would be an act of spite, and I prefer to go through life making people happy.

At the sort of pocket money prices our cars go for, it's not about profit. I'm not desparate to make a couple of hundred quid or whatever.

The car is for sale, for further use, to be enjoyed and appreciated further.

Offers under 2K. If you aren't interested, kindly jog on to the next thread. If you are interested, PM me.

I think people on here are very willing to save cars from going to the scrappy... I for one have saved a ZT-T similar to yours...

The big problem is that when you say you have been offered £2k already then you have set the price...

With all due respect, we all know that the cars can be picked up for not a lot of money... A similar spec car to yours sold recently for just over £1k and had less miles.... So I can't imagine anyone offering close to 2k.

I hope you manage to find someone that wants to keep her in the road mate, it looks a lovely car...

With that in mind, it may be worth stating what offer you would accept under £2k

If no one wants it, then you have been offered very strong money for it and at least it would help keep some others on the road...

I will say straight out I dont believe anyone would pay 2000 for that car for parts or that
Anyone here will be convinced to pay more than market value for the car.

If im wrong then fine but it sounds like a fairytale offer to me

Hence my initial reply to this.
If £2k really has been offered, take it asap because nobody from here is gonna pay anywhere near that for a 167k 10yr old car that does 18mpg round town.

Has this been sold yet? And is it the one from Simon in Billingham?

Despite a very generous and kind offer from a member here, a week away with her has made my mind up.

It is too nice a car to sell. Well for now anyway.
