i can remember pic posts from keith on how big the filter was, so try searching on him specifically as he seems to pull apart every vehicle he owns?

I can't find any info on air filters for V8. Suggest you ask the experts.

there is a flap on the engine undertray that can be dropped- but its as much mess as removing the bumper.
have a read of this http://www9.mgcars.org.uk/mgoc260/f0...ead.php?t=2202

Definately easier with the bumper off tho, when i tried to do mine, i undone everything that needed to be done to take the bumper off but it wouldn't come off, not wanting to break anything i didn't want to be forceful so went the other way from under the car removing the flap as Black olive said. But can take a while because of the restricted space.
