I have no idea why the stuff was there, I declined to buy it because I didn't know and don't have the time to be investigating.

I was just reading up on it there, could be caused by the use of K seal

Yes me too - given the last lady owner had it for six years and it was serviced by an ex-Rover dealer (or specialist) throughout, it's a pretty safe bet it wasn't bodged.

Still, all academic now as (subject to contract as they say) the car is now sold and for just a little short of the reduced asking price. Excellent condition+FSH+warranty works for some. "a hell of a lot of car for that money" says the happy punter; I couldn't have put it better myself. Pity it couldn't go to a fellow member but such is life.

Happy hunting to those seriously in the market; they're out there but you do have to sift.

All the best,

Nigel

Default Changing thread title?

If anyone know how to change the thread title so I can say *SOLD* then please advise. I did an advanced edit of the opening post and changed the title but still can't get it to show SOLD. I don't want to waste the time of people looking for a car...

Thanks
