Whats the hole for in the air intake hose? I know there is a small hole for the a pipe off the solenoid but what is the big one as in the picture?

Thats where the second vacuum take off pipe from the valve cover fits. On the top of the engine where the oil filler is there are two breather pipes, stood in front of the car looking at the engine, right hand one goes to inlet manifold, left hand one goes to turbo pipe.
