Default Headlight level sensor mechanism.

So this is the question, whats the answer? My 04 MGZT 2.5 KV6 +180 Sports Auto SE assembly 8th November 2004 is fitted with front and back sensors, the rear one is configured as a downward Vee not an upside down one as it should be as I have read in the many posts on this subject. It would appear it would not be possible to "flip" it up, there is not enough clearance above if so aligned for it to move. Have I got the wrong end of the stick? Thanks for your time. Chris S. Damned hot down here but I'm not complaining.
