Default Acer Windows 8 laptop.

Is anyone in the market for a mint, 11 month old Acer laptop? A friend from France bought it at the back end of last year to replace his old Dell one, not realising that Windows 8 is sooooo different to XP/Vista! He dabbled with it for a week or so.....then gave up!

I'm meeting up with him next week and he's asked me to sell it for him. I do know he paid around £350 for it and it has a 15.7" screen....I'll have the full spec sometime tomorrow! It doesn't have the original packaging with it, but everything it came with is all present and correct.

He'd like to get around £225 back for it, but any sensible offer considered.

Pete

Yep, he tried that on my advice, but still couldn't get on with it! He's bought a new one with Windows 7, loves it to bits!

I'll post the spec up tomorrow as soon as he sends it to me.

I use classic shell... none of this 'side bar interruption' or 'apps' kicking in, good old classic start bar

Get on with mine great now
