Like the OP our diesel was purchased new (dealer registered) showing 26 miles in May 2002 so the missus is the 2nd registered keeper. The car has now done about 138k

My V6 was purchased in Feb 2011 with 36k and 4 previous keepers it is just about to turn to 55k.

Oddly enough my V6 is 52 plated and was built 6 days before our 02 plated diesel. Both cars were then shipped to the same main dealer in East Kilbride Scotland, possibly on the same transporter.
This means that my V6 was sitting on the premises waiting for sale when we purchased our diesel. It remained unsold for almost a year before being, first dealer registered (52 plate) then sold.

In its first two years of official ownership it had only covered 7,342 miles
I purchased it locally from an ex Rover dealership in Prestwick.

My SD1 Vitesse will be 30 years old next year and I am the second keeper.
I purchased it with 18k in 1989 and it now sits fully restored with 100k.

CDTi Conn SE - Purchased new in Feb 2004.
Rustproofed from new & serviced by Austin Garages.
Now on 59000 and has never missed a beat.
Never thought I would keep a car 11 years.
