this is a big improvment of the original one.there is no longer the pcb board in the back just wires .this in my opinion is how it should hvae been made in the first place.i now have working lights and no intermittant bulb failure message.well happy

How much? Easy to fit?

I get random 'plate light failure' messages on my dash from time to time, then will work fine for months..

£44 i think without looking it up.as for fitting remove four ten mm nuts.remove the chrome trim.which leaves you the part to be removed which is stuck on with glue left over from sticking the tiles on the space shuttle.i poured boiling hot water over it.which softens the glue then used a trim removal tool to lever it off.cleaned the boot lid with sticky stuff remover .refit and thats it

I took mine off and it was clear to see the problem, corroded and broken tracks on the pcb, I just replaced all with wires and soldered where needed, also extended the power wires that enter the boot - no more probs, if your handy with a soldering iron have a go, cost nothing with the wire I used.

p.s. watch you don't drop the nuts into the boot cavity ...

Thanks for the order, and happy to be of help. These are proving popular, so I've got another 30 on the way over from MG now.
