Just seen an outstanding interview on BBC with Professor John Van-Tam, outstanding due to the lack of interruptions from the interviewers. I really think that the Professor would make a very interesting subject for a documentary: straightforward and no elaborations.

I am confident in the vaccine
They are giving it to Old Peoples Home residents and staff along with NHS staff in the first wave. So if it did not work or was harmful there would not be any medical or care staff to look after whats left anyway. Bring it on,lets get this done and make us all safe,(I sound like Boris now) Getting near time for a Scotch Egg and a few pints

Well, so long as the money has been paid in advance, and bland assurances given, I'd like to see them by the way, and accepted by people I don't believe or respect for one minute, and post-injection liability lasting for the remaining lifespan of the first most vulnerable group has been resolved, and other more strenuously tested alternatives are on the as yet un- determined way, then what's to worry about?

Thanks Ron. Hate to say it, well I don't really, but all that goes to confirm my instincts rather than any, read none, medical experience I might have had.
I read all of that and found myself continually nodding in agreement on the basis of a lifetime of 'follow the money' and then 'especially if it has an American source'. There is always, absolutely always, a deeper dimension to everything we are being told. If I can quote a better informed writer than me: "And incidentally, do lockdowns work? Published in Frontiers in Public health last week, yet another thorough international study found no statistical correlation between Corvid mortality and suppressive policies: 'Stringency of the measures settled to fight pandemia, including lockdown, did not appear to be linked with the death rate'. .. Boris Johnson's government mustn't condition lifting the pillow now pressed over Britain on the completion of countrywide vaccination - or we could be gasping under goose feathers for quite some time". Lionel Shriver.
