Phil
Old traditional MG Rover badge vs new MG Rover badge.

Below is the old badge with the Longbridge postcode.

It is, along with web address etc.

My plates have the two small badges as above, and have passed the previous 3 MOT's with them on.

That plate looks like the numbers are behind the acrylic, not stuck on the front...

As far as I'm aware, the black letters are printed onto clear laser film, then stuck to the yellow reflective and laminated onto black ABS plastic.

My Hardridden plate is now delaminating after seven years which isn't too bad & l wouldn't mind another as l like the old logo. Is Ken still doing them?

As somebody else pointed out, that plate in Dallas' picture looks like it's acrylic covered whereas mine is simply a sheet stuck on a backing board. The one in the photo looks much better.

A guy called Matt Dickins is my go to supplier of number plates - original fonts, dealer information if you supply it, border as an option, and Rover/MG logos...

I've included 2 pictures at first glance appearing identical - but smile.jpg is higher definition so you can zoom in to view the dealer details etc.
