Oil cooler removal, KV6
I suspect oil cooler failure as have oil in the coolant (ocurred while car was out of use). I want to remove it but still be able to run the engine to move the car about and to clean out the cooling system.
Obviously I can link the coolant hoses with a length of pipe. What about the oil pipes? My question is does the cooler take the full oil flow or just a bypass? If it is full flow I will have to make up a link pipe to connect the two adjacent pipe connections. Advice welcome |
