Best thing to use to remove scratches from body work guys?

Depends on how bad they are, how experienced you are and how much time you wish to spend.

Edit: Are we talking light scratches all over the car or a more obvious one on say a door?

Mostly on lip of boot guy who owned car before me was a golfer think he made scratches lifting his golf bag in and out of boot ,

You probably need a polisher and the correct polish/pads to do a decent job.
I used to use Menzerna polishes and pads to tackle most jobs but there are many good combinations.
