LJW is in need of alloys refurbishment for its Crowns. Has anyone had this done? Recommendations please, preferably South East.

Insprayation in Rochester look good. Done a charity show there a while back, and their work looks fantastic. I think some members of the MG Kent group had their wheels done there.

My dad's Serpent wheels will be dropped off there for a refurbishment hopefully later in the year.

I took a set to these guys and they did a really good job. Nice bunch of young guys. The place looked a bit rough on the outside, but they had all the gear. They are obviously very busy as well - always a good sign. I had to travel quite a way to get to them and they were not the cheapest, but it was a really good job that I'm sure will last. I will use them again.

I've had a set of Meteors and a set of Serpents refurbed by The Wheel Specialist in Farnborough. They did a great job on each occassion and the wheels looked factory fresh (and still do).

Not the cheapest, but I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. They can match manufacturers colours if required, but I opted for one of their own standard colours, "Sports 1", which just happens to be a very good match for MG Rover "Silver Sparkle".

Thank you Cliff, a great recommendation. I was chatting with Ed and he suggested a place in Birmingham that is cheap as chips, at £25 per wheel. Birmingham is a bit out of my way.

Cool

Wheel Genie are in Huntingdon Cambridgeshire. Keith Dickens is the gaffer, used to be on here before he left under a cloud. It was him that done the wheels on the Bear, and repaired the spare wheel as well.

Insprayation are in Rochester. And have many recommendations.

Wheel fix it are in North London, they done the wheels on Banana about 3 years ago. The only trouble is they are very hard to get hold of.

The Bodyshop in Tomswood Hill Barkingside Essex do wheel refurbishment.
