Not sure which colour it's called. Phil's Tourer was this colour, the sort of purple one.

Anyway, spotted out of the corner of my eye as we lest the car park. Looked like it was on a personal plate starting Jxxxxxx

It may well have been. It was Sainsbury's car park.

I only spotted it as we drove out, Friday afternoon. If I see you, I'll say Hi, though I may have to apologise for my car if I'm not in my 75.

Edit: just looked at your profile, and see yours is a 2004. Is it a Mk1 or a Mk2?

The one I saw was I think one that was a Mk1, and the paint looks blue in some lights, but is that colour changing type that also looks purple. And when you talk about the 'one on the right' in the picture, do you mean my signature picture? Reason I ask is the right hand picture is Green, albeit a very blue green called Arden Green. The left hand one is Seafrost Blue.

This was Phil's car (as mentioned by OP)

Monogram Spectre

The difference between a Mark1 and a facelift Mark 2 car can be seen by looking at the headlights:

Mark 1 = twin lights
Mark2 = Single unit (right hand car in my sig pic)

Yes, that's the one.

You can also see the differnce between the Mk1 and Mk2 in my pictures: the light blue on the left is a Mk2 (also called facelift) while the dark green on the right is a Mk1.

We all have loads to learn, even those that have been around the block with these cars. But that's why this is such a good club, so many others willing to help you learn things you didn't know you wanted to!

OK, wasn't the one I saw, but nice looking car all the same.

Looks like the spec is similar to my Seafrost tourer. Same wheels, so I think it's a connie SE the same. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
