Bonnent Release Cables
Hi All,
Anyone replaced the bonnet release cables without taking the bumper off? Is it sufficient just to release top and sides to get access?? regards Rich |

I think it has been done without fully removing the slam panel, but not sure its possible with the bumper in place. You can do a much more thorough job with slam panel off and it's a lot easier. There will also be a lot of crud on the underside of the slam panel, and on everyone I've done, rust that can be treated whilst your there.
Short cut or half a job! Lee.

Hi Richard.
take the bumper off, and the slam panel, if you don't you will wished you had by the time you have messed about trying to get them on just tipping the slam panel up
