2.5 KV6 not starting
Okay folks, he's a new one for you well a new one for me anyway.
I have a 2002, 2.5 L KV6. It stopped and would not restart the first thought I had was the fuel pump had stopped working and I checked it and it had passed on. I replace the fuel pump and is now pumping petrol with a pressure of 3.5 bar. But it won't start. I used TOAF and came up with error codes PO351 to PO356 inclusive. Which means the coils have stopped working all six of them. Now the things I have checked is the fuses in the engine fuse compartment. They are all okay. I have cranked it over and the tachometer is moving, which is far as I know means the ECU is working. Is there any suggestions that might help me get this car going again. Be excellent to each other Damien |

You'd be much better reposting this in the technical help section. Not everyone visits the social forum.

I would say that it's extremely unlikely that all six coils have suddenly failed at the same time. They may however be not receiving an electrical signal from the ECM. Are you getting any other symptoms or warning lights/messages? Is the ECM nice and dry? Simon
