Duotone that photo was taken just by what is now the Sainsbury's petrol station on Ings Road. Was it Appleyard Wakefield then?

Yes, the picture was taken at JCT 600's Rover dealership on Ings Road Wakefield.. This site is now a block of flats/apartments, it was next door to Sainsbury's petrol station.

A few months after the picture was taken JCT 600 moved a short distance to Waldorf Way changing the dealership signs from Rover to MG Rover and is now a Chrysler/Mazda dealership..

Sad eh? The flats look awful. JCT have closed the Chrysler dealer now and its Seat or was last time I was in Wakefield

Happy to help, there are some good photos in there. Don't know if you knew already but on that website, if you view it with a web browser with tabs, right click on the picture and click 'open in new tab' and the photo will be much bigger

Here is a picture of my second 75, just delivered from Longbridge, November 2001, a Connoisseur SE diesel auto in BRG.
[Note, no front foglamps, not available on the diesel auto at this time]

Thats a lovely looking car and now you mention the lack of fogs the bottom bit looks quite dark without them
