mine is like your Mk2 pic with purple and blue connectors.


Interesting colour car by the way.

Opened the bottom up and the PCB looks fine. (even by the connectors)

The grey card attached to the lid looks like it may have been damp in the past though.

I did have a water leak in the boot many years ago.

On the mk3 unit the lead plugs straight into the back of the sat nav. On the mk2 bolted on to the top of the unit is a smaller unit called a trimble. This is where the lead plugs in. Simply unplug the lead out of the unit and plug it into the sat nav unit

Can I unplug the black plug too ? or not ?
