Default 17th national meet

I know the location ,but has any date been arranged yet? Might bring the caravan as there's a site only 3 miles away.

I asked Reebs when it would be as I wanted to arrange a holiday half way up the country so I could pop up to Scotland for the meet. It's too far for me travelling all the way from Hampshire to Scotland for just one day. Paul didn't know but I think he said either August or September. I have now arranged a holiday and if it works out great but if it doesn't it will be only the third meet I have missed.

While on the subject of meets could we have a proper two day club meet next year somewhere? We had one years ago and it worked great with two good days and a get together on the Saturday night at a country pub. It really brought the members together including those who didn't attend and in my opinion helped make the club and forum a nice place to be. It was different to this years POL and the national as it was also organised for the Saturday evening as well. It was not cheap for the club and those that attended but probably no more than what this years POL and national cost.

Now I have had a break for a couple of years from sorting out meets I would as a member have the time and interest to either organise or assist in doing this if the members and club are interested.
