I bought a Lion battery from ECP 6 years ago and yes i know how bad their reputation is but i needed a battery in a hurry and funds were limited at the time however it is still on the car and spins her over perfectly well even on the coldest of mornings. Came with a 3 year guarantee which probably wasn't worth the paper it was written on but if my memory serves me correctly it cost me less than £50 with one of their discount codes. Makes a change to get a little luck from mine on the odd occasion

I have bought my last 3 batteries from Tayna and cannot praise them enough. The last one was an Exide that I fitted to my then Mercedes C Class. Shortly afterwards the car went in for a service and the health report I received after this was all good except for reporting the battery as failing. I was somewhat taken aback by this and contacted Tayna who asked me to return the battery for them to test.

They asked me to repack it in the original packaging as received and they arranged for a courier to collect it. They had it on test for several days and at the end declared it to be absolutely fine and despatched it by courier back to me.

I fully expected to have to pay the carriage costs both ways as there was no problem found but no... they said it was all part of their customer service.

The battery was then fine and still on the car when I sold it.

Bought loads from Tayna never a problem just buy the mid range batteries and you won’t go far wrong.
Local form sells Banner batteries and they have been very good just not as cheap as Tayna offer but they are local If stuck.

I have not been back to this particular garage who specialise in German cars because my current cars are not German but they do have a good reputation locally. I can only assume the test meter used was faulty.
