I posted a reply there & it vanished

You'll be pleased to know I have actually done some spanner flinging on the P6 at last................nothing major just a few odd jobs that needed doing

When I first got the P4 back from the paintshop, I thought I'd have it done in a weekend and I can't believe how much work I have put into it!

Surprising how long it takes isn't it? I'm just trying to get my mate gee'd up to come & finish the welding then I can really crack on with it

Yeah! I don't think I'll do another one like this again. It is just too infuriating. I like doing the mechanicals though. Its just the rest of it.
Next one will be a V8 SD1 or V8 Rover P6 or an Austin Princess/Ambassador. Maybe another Marina, but a non runner.

Yeah the bodywork can be a real chew at times................I really really really really want a P5B Coupe but they are a nightmare for hidden rot & I just dont think I could go through it all again

That is what I wanted instead of the P4 but Jackie won.

The P4 isn't totally finished, but almost. I couldn't help but take it for a drive.
Trouble is, the bloomin radiator is now leaking.
I forgot how heavy the steering is and how much power it has. Brakes are spot on too.

Oh yeah, proof it was on the road today.
