Default auto window problem - newbie

Hello forummers,
First post and already a new thread.
I bought a 75 Connoisseur mark 2 (04 reg) last Monday, and due to work commitments haven't been able to do much yet.
I was told it was off road for a few years so expected problems. It is booked in for an oil change later today so in the meantime I have been out messing.
In my eagerness to find out what works I have managed to fully lower the NS rear window, but it won't raise again.
with the engine off but key turned on I can hear the motor click for all four windows in the down position, but only three clicks for the up position.
I think it will be a loose wire somewhere but would it be in the door, or the buttons console?
If I know where to look I might be able to fix it before taking it for the oil change.
Many thanks in anticipation.

Have you tried to raise it using both switches? (front drivers side and the one on the actual door you are trying to close)

Never thought of that. Would be a stretch to operate both switches at the same time.
Anyway I'm back home after leaving it at the garage for the oil change. I told him the problem so hopefully they'll put the window up for me at the same time. I use this garage for all my MOT's etc. I had a 416 for the past ten years so they know me
But thanks for the suggestion, I'll remember that if it goes wrong again.
Oh, I tried the individual button on the offending door, but that didn't 'click' either.
Wiring fault?

Problem solved.
turns out the button on the door works fine . . . . . when the childlock for windows isn't on
I thought the lock was on when the lock button is lit. But no, it's the other way round.
Feel a bit of a plonker tbh.
But he said the button on the drivers console doesn't work so I'll be replacing that when I get the chance.
I'm off to Bristol tomorrow and didn't want to go all that way with a window open so I'm happy now
But thank you for your interest.
