Default damp under inlet manifold

Hi my 75 1.8 has a slight water leak and when I rubbed my hand under the inlet manifold I had a bit of water on my hand which felt slippery like oily sort of feel
Am I correct in thinking the inlet gasket is leaking
thanks

That slight oily feeling is coolant... yes manifold gasket. Replace with a good quality one.

You can remove the manifold and incur minimal coolant loss. Once reassembled, the coolant will need topping up. I always bleed the system whenever i have disconnected anything that contains coolant. The little screw on the pipe elbow below throttle body, open it up, let any air bubbles out until you have a constant flow of coolant coming out of it, then tighten it back up. Give the coolant pipes a good squeeze and check the bleed screw once more. Its not hard to do, just a bit tricky to get to.
Good luck.
