BMW wide screen
Hello folks can anyone tell me what I need to do to use the phone function on the upgraded BMW head unit? It already has all the upgraded radio and digital tv but can’t find a users manual on the internet to see what I have to do!
Any help appreciated Last edited by coab; 11th April 2024 at 16:41.. |

OEM (BMW version) on a Hi-line with the radio and TV tuners in the boot. You'll have to add a microphone (BMW part, fits inside the cabin light binnacle up near the rear view mirror - should be pre-wired to somewhere near the top of the O/S 'A' pillar) and a Bluetooth ULF connection 'box'/multi-plug + a bit of wiring in the boot. There is a full how-to somewhere, I'll try and dig it out.
There are alternative more up-to-date conversion kits out there if you search the net. Last edited by rab60bit; 12th April 2024 at 16:10.. |

You have a pm. You will need to add a bluetooth box and some bits & pieces first. P18 & P21 of this manual may help: (https://www.manualslib.com/manual/80...page=22#manual). Since sending the pm, I have found my copy of the phone user manual which I can send to you. |

You have a PM. If you decide to go this route the BMW ULF modules (and plugs etc) are readily available on the internet, I think there were 13 ULF generations (versions) so the newer the version you can obtain the better (there were apparently limitations/glitches in the early versions). I've got a list of the version part numbers if you want them.
