Another weekend of work, this car is keeping me busy

Off with the original exhaust, I can see why it was so noisy

And on with the stainless system I collected from Simon.h yesterday

My only criticism is that it hangs slightly low but I will adjust the hangers at some point. The car is much quieter than it was with the old exhaust but has a nice tone when you floor it

You didn't hang around Mark!
I think the tail pipes suits your bumper trim (mk2) better than mine.
So whats the sound/noise like then driving?

Got my std system fitted, its too quiet!

I'll try and get a video up at some point, at tick over it sounds about the same as the old system but under normal driving conditions and cruising at 70 you can hardly hear it. When you but your foot down it is quite loud and has a nice tone to it.

I think your decat must've been what made it unbearable. Glad you got your new one fitted in the end, hope the leathers were ok as well

The system was still in 1 piece so must've been the original exhaust. So just a case of measuring up the new exhaust and cutting.
