Rear suspension top arm
I hope someone has done this job before - can the top arm be removed without taking the entire assembly off the car? (Assuming the demon rust doesn't affect the job) Cheers, Dave

It can indeed to my knowledge.
Bolts can be a pain, as they can rust into the bushes at either end.

If you're lucky, but as Matt says, bolts often seized in the trailing arm bush. Both were seized solid in mine.

Yes, you need a deep socket and some patience. Hope the bolt hasnt seized in the bush. Worth slackening off half a turn then soaking overnight.
