Input from members Please Badges
As many of you may know, in past we have sold many of the Premium bumpers and I have more on the way .
We are trying to conceive and fabricate an MG Badge. We have a Rover facelift Badge already. I would like to get some opinions before we go to final design and fabrication. This was the Artwork for the Facelift Badge This was the finished Product This is the first sampling of the NEW Artwork for the MG Badge, which will be fitted in the same position on the Bumper Chrome surround . I was also thinking about getting rid of the border around the MG and Expanding the 2 letters (M and G) and distorting them so they fit and cover most of the badge , leaving space at the bottom for ZT By the way the bumpers will be here in Mid May ! Any Input and opinions would be greatly appreciated. regards Sean (Aka RadioGuy) |

Looks good Sean, but I would just have MG and not MG ZT,just in case members want one for a Tourer (ZTT),
Just my humble opinion

2nd that - MG on it's own is enough. Keep it simple.

Understood , but the problem thta I have is that I will have trouble getting anything JUST MG out of China ! Because of Logo Copyright infringement, Which is why I want to add the ZT . No "ZT"s in China |

Rover badge looks really well,
the MG I think will look better on its own so drop the ZT, Keeps it looking as is the pukker manufactured badging Great effort Sean well done Just read reasoning for ZT, so I get that and see why the ZT there in design, was the Rover badge then one off the shelf so therefore you didnt have to have it manufactured so didnt hit same hurdle. Produce a blank with an octagonally recess so a standard badge can be fitted

I'd agree with the "drop the ZT" opinion but the copyright complicates matters and I can't think what else could go there.I thought of that as well but looking at the depth and shape of the badge I don't think it would be wide enough for the standard 59mm badge.

ironic talking about Chinese copyright lol. I think both look good, though as said the zt doesn't seem 'right ' to me. instead of the surround being black, could it be chromed? it would blend into the surround of the bumper and give impression of an octagonal badge, even with the zt below.
