Wow, looks like the rot has been cut out of the A pillars but not been welded back up. Looks like an early one with those tail lights.

He writes that there are no papers with it. It has the old number system plate on the back. This was changed to the system of today in 1973. Probably SORNed it around 72/73. He says he thinks it´s a 1955 and has all the bits of the car. It looks a bit too far gone though

Mine looked like that a while ago. It doesn't look too bad on my phone screen.

After all the grief I have had doing the P4 from Jackie I have decided not to do the Marina body myself. The Marina is off in November to be done by an expert.
I went and bought over £400 worth of nos bl stuff last weekend. Most of it still in the original leyland boxes.

Things take too much time, is the problem. I´m just getting to the end of the Vogue caravan restauration. After 8 years Getting all new parts is great fun. I´ve got a lot of NOS parts for the Volvos, 50´s and 60´s, all in their blue boxes. Something about NOS stuff. I´ve got one of the last number plate chrome lights for the 144. They have been sold out now for about 10-15 years. Gave 600 kronor for it. Now they change hands for 2500 - 3000 kronor. 400 quid well spent

Because for most of them it´s just a job..... when´s the next tea break - syndrome. I´ve got some old Bosch lamps etc in their original boxes, even PRIMUS stuff. The box grafiks are works of art. Camping stuff. This is from 1930, says: -Everything is sleeping peacefully.... even you- -Flit keeps the myges and small insects away-. It was probably so toxic that it might -put you out- for good

NSU. German car makers for many years. Swollowed up by Audi. Last ditched effort was the RO 80 with Wankel engine. Remember my brother had a NSU moped from the beginning of the 60´s. There were several firms that found it hard after the war: NSU, Adler, Auto Union, Audi. They all got rolled up into one - Audi. DKW was another firm that got bought up by Audi. I think these were sold in UK in the 50´s. Cheep and cheerful like the bubble cars, BMW, Messerschmit. Ever seen a Lloyd.. Also German, much like this. Goliath was another of these -Micro- cars.
