Hi everyone.,
Thanks for the add to the group. Since early days (and I'm nearly 60 now) I was brought up on the humble Mini and such like. My older brother was well into rallying, and with him and other members of Washington and District Motor Club, I had an international co driver's licence by the time I was 15. Cars were (and unfortunately still are) a time consuming part of my life. My family went down the Leyland or Hillman route, leaving the Fords to my uncles. I now drive a MG ZTT+ which I can say is giving me a few problems at the moment, but also have a Rover 418 Tourer sat on the drive, which I want to become my daily drive. I taught my son (now 22) to drive in a Metro and to his credit has taken 2 of his different Metros around the Nuremberg Ring in the past 2 years. The fool. I believe forum's like this keep the cars alive, certainly for the coming generations. So, thanks again for the add to the group and I'll help to contribute where I can give some sound advice ... if I can. Dave |
