Good morning all,

My sister in law asked yesterday if she could put her cows and donkeys onto our lawns so they can eat the grass. I said let’s try it out.

It wasn’t a great success as the cows tore up the lawns and there was a bad smell of manure about the house and hundreds of flies, so we won’t be doing that again. Jessica wasn’t happy with all the flies around our laundry on the line.

How is everyone? Anything planned for the weekend?

Morning all, It's grey rainy day out there.

Great pics Phil, If those cows stepped on my lawn they'd sink up to their knees, It's been sodden for months & I only mow it with the hover mower as the wheels on the petrol mower would just churn it up. Where has the nice Spring weather gone

Morning, sunny but cold here. If Maya went out and was confronted by a coo in the garden she'd go mental!

There is a YouTube video, link provided by George showing Tam racing a super charged AX Saxo he built himself at the Knockhill Circuit in Scotland. Thank you George.

Thank you Andy, when I watched that video, I thought how Tam must have had nerves of steel to get round the track at such high speed. He was clearly a very talented man and a great loss. Like yourself and others in the club, a person of many qualities and talents.

Good morning Steve, Maya is only doing what comes natural. Most dogs have hunting and defensive behaviour in their character.

We have a problem with monkeys eating the fruit from our trees and when the dogs see them in the trees they go manic. Of course the monkeys will always get away.

At night a leopard comes sometimes looking for poultry, or a dog or cat to eat, so we keep them locked up for their safety.

How are you?

Thank you Ian

We would love to have a hover mower so I do understand why you have one. I am sorry to hear about the weather you are having. Thank you for posting up the photos of the marvellous dishes you cook for yourself and your good lady.

I have given up eating bread and potatoes.

We are still getting torrential heavy rains here at night but during the day it’s hot 25-28C which is not too bad but it’s very humid. Our property is built on volcanic rock so the water has very little chance of pooling for very long.

Love the way the leaves are framing the monkey.
Great photos

Sensible to keep the animals in Phil!
