My neighbour, an ex mechanic, had to get a mobile mechanic in to do the brakes on his wife's car as he had just come out of hospital after an operation. Luckily, he was watching the guy work because he was making mistakes from the start. He had to tell him several of the procedures and even had to point out that he was turning things the wrong way! Once most of it was back together he went back into the house to get his cash. He paid the guy and took the car for a test drive, only to hear a distinct clonking sound. He had forgotten to nip up the wheel nuts on one side! The van he had was signwritten with all sorts of logos and "specialisms"! You can't believe what it says on the tin! We have agreed to help each other out in the future!
