Tourer tailgate window shenanigans
Strange goings on with the tourer tailgate, the small one.
It opened of its own accord when I set off from work this evening. Then again when halted and set off again in traffic. When I got home I did a few stop / starts. It did open a few times, once when I turned on the lights, once when I selected reverse.🤔 Then it wouldn't open when using the switch at the bottom of the window.😥 It has been raining heavily here today!Put the car in garage and checked plenum. All ok there.🙏 Tailgate now opens fine with switch, and I couldn't replicate the problem, when I tried last. Curious. Any ideas what devilish fiend is playing jiggery pokery with my tailgate? Mine did the same years ago. Popped the rubber cover off under the handle (wiper) and a piece of spring fell out. I put it all back together to look at it later and never had a problem again.
