Default hands free / traficmaster integration?

not sure if any one has done this before or if it can actually be done.
looking to fit a hands free kit to the car but want to see if it's possible to integrate it into the trafficmaster system to use the already fitted micrphone and speakers?

any thoughts, cheers Tony

I can't answer your question, but I have been thinking of other uses for this.
I actually have my system tel number and can call into the car.good luck it would be interesting to find out what other possible uses there are .ie= activation of other things .

if its trafficmaster smart nav you are talking about you are already most of the way there as it can receive calls but you can only call out to the control centre.

Just make your smart nav number known to friends and family and they can call you and it will be hands free as you want.

You cant make calls out but not the done thing to be messing about looking for numbers whilst driving but thats your call, and if you are stationary you can always use your mobile, so for a lot of people receiving hands free calls is all they need whilst driving.

If its smart nav it came with the kit, either look on the control box or if you are a subscribed member ring the control centre and ask them

I have the traffic master icon appear on start up in the ipk. There's no buttons or anything that I can see linked to it. How does the system work? Had in mind it was defunct.

Trafficmaster system in the IPK is defunct, but TM also operate a separate system called smartnav which was an optional extra on our cars, it allows a call to the control centre by pressing a button in the centre switchbank or later versions replaced the button with a screen, so its the smartnav that allows calls into the car not the IPK trafficmaster
