Default I am once again confused. BCU

Can someone just clarify what is the correct part number for a MK2 DieselbTourer BCU. I for the love of me cant decifer the difference between the part numbers i can find online.

Mine is YWC000760. is this correct, please someone put me out of my misery.

Mine is YWC001521, although I’ve no idea if it’s original.

There is a ‘BBA-reman Ltd’ sticker on it, but I don’t know if it’s the original that was repaired, or an exchange unit.

What problems are you having it's extremely rare for a BCU to malfunction, any problems are usually down to something else

I'm still trying to fix my boot switches 2 years later 🤣

Both the window switch and the tailgate switch do nothing. Loom seems fine and switches seem fine, well I know they are as I have changed them. Only thing I can now think of is the BCU. Main tailgate still opens with a long press on the remote button.

My best guess on this is that it's a configuration issue.
Had one today with exactly your problem, car coding thought it was a saloon and not a tourer.
Corrected the configuration and everything now works as it should
